Paris Suit Yourself - shitstain My Hand (Big Dada)
Genre: Rock, Psyche
Released: February 14, 2011
Paris Suit Yourself (PSY) is three guys and a girl. Magnets much classical music as metal. French or American in origin, they all live in Berlin. They play much in the hot Berlin underground at the Baron in Paris. Yet their slings, ultra-fashion, makes one expect something else when listening to their record. Do not be fooled by appearances. I
PSY discovered in the huge Ninja Box 20th anniversary of Ninja Tune . Intrigued by this group much more rock influenced than the label in London used to offer us, I bought the disc version promo. And I must say it really sending heavy! Already
the singer's voice, Luvinsky Atche, alternating between hysterical crying and sweet melodies and serious way crooner. Then the rhythm of drummer Joe Heffernan, ultra-aggressive on some songs, and virtually absent in others. To this are added the bass Marie Boye and synths and guitar Victor Tricard. The mixture the disc offers a varied whole, original, without repetition, which has its own identity and style a little burnt.
The group, whose trademark alternates between dark and fashionery outgoing trip, seems to work. The path of each protagonist comes nest to propel the disc carried by the enigmatic voice Luvinsky.
I believe that Big Dada does not make a mistake by signing his first record "rock" (the quotes are volunteers), with Paris Suit Yourself. And for my part, between DELS , PSY, this label was very important to me in my learning, but music that began to falter again the perks and offers an interesting alternative to what he had got into the habit of rocking lately.
