Jules Claude Ziegler painter but also a ceramist, has shown in the creation of the famous sandstone Beauvais. He runs his studio from 1838 to 1843 Voisinlieu.
Among his creations, he produced among other pitchers by their exceptional lightness.
These pieces are quite rare. Even rarer are those decorated and polychrome enamel.
We have one of them, called "Egyptian Jug."
Two other vases in our collection, stoneware salt, decorated with vines and grapes, are more traditionally crafted.
